Russian, Hungarian parliamentarians to visit Tehran by mid-Nov.

TEHRAN, Nov. 04 (MNA) – According to the statement released by Iran’s Parliament, two senior delegations from the National Assembly of Hungary and the Federation Council of Russia will visit Tehran by mid-November.

Upon the invitation of Ali Larijani, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, László Kövér, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, will head a parliamentarian delegation to visit Iran for five days.

The Hungarian delegation is expected to arrive in Tehran on Wednesday and is slated to meet with President Hassan Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Iranian Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia.

Another foreign parliamentarian delegation will arrive in Iran five days after the arrival of the Hungarians. Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairman of the Federation Council of Russia, will head Russian parliamentarian delegation to Tehran.

The Russian Council's Deputy Chairman Ilyas Umakhanov had told the media in early July that Chairperson Matvyenko will pay an official visit to Tehran.

She is slated to meet with Ali Larijani, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, President Rouhani, and Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, during her two-day stay in Tehran.
